Solving that DRM Issue


Over at Open IT Strategies, there is a discussion on Steve Jobs challenge to the industry about DRM. Magnatune , I think, has a great solution. Sign artists directly, give them 50% of the proceeds, and let the customer determine (within limits) the pricepoint. Seems to be working so far. Most folks don't mind paying artists. They just have a problem paying the execs who have a reputation for greed.
In the meantime, if this link works, have a listen to some music I bought from them yesterday. Worth every penny and then some.
